A Dedicated Piano Teacher
Ever since I realized that I have a passion for teaching, I knew I wanted to work as a professional piano teacher and accompanist. Today, my primary goal is to nurture the love of music in all my students in a supportive and friendly piano studio. For the past 25 years in both Canada and Asia, I have taught piano to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced students.

In regards to my piano background, I studied with renowned Canadian pianists Marilyn Engle and Beverly Yee. As well, I obtained my ARCT Piano Performance through The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. These experiences have taught me that no matter whom I’m teaching I must thrive to see my students grow and develop their potential musical talent, trying my best to inspire them to have a lifelong love of music.
I feel rewarded when most of my students succeed in piano exams (ABRSM & RCM) with First Class Honours and Distinction. It is especially pleasing to see the students receive recognition at the Calgary Performing Arts Festival ( Kiwanis Music Festival).

Get ready to dive into an exciting musical adventure! My teaching style is about mastering the essentials while having a blast on the piano! I'm passionate about delivering a comprehensive musical education that includes everything repertoire technique to ear training, sight reading, ensemble work, and performance. In my friendly and inviting studio, I customize my approach for each student, using methods to keep lessons fun and engaging and even serious about the RCM exams! Join me for private and small group piano lessons, offered weekly in 45-minute or 60 mins sessions, or 30-minute for ages 5 to 6. With simple monthly payment plan due on the first day of each month, we'll cover the details in our first lesson. Let’s make some amazing music!

The study of theory is an essential part of musical training and is intended to support practical studies in order to enhance and enrich musical understanding and literacy. I encourage students to include the study of theory if you want to pursue your piano examination as a goal.

Group Piano Lessons

Discover our small, high-quality group piano lessons that both kids and adults adore! Each session lasts a full hour, offering more value than the typical 30-minute beginner classes. Each student has its own piano for lessons. Group lessons are welcome for beginners, intermediate levels, including students with previous piano backgrounds and even returning students! Our lessons are filled with energy, laughter, and music-making, where students develop musical skills, techniques, and learn new songs in a fun, environment. We accept students year-round, call us for a free consultation! New students signing for four lessons can enjoy a free trial.
